Coverguard Security are proud to announce that we have covered the Metropolitan Regatta for the 19th year in a row. The event took place 2nd, 3rd and 4th June 2017, and went incredibly well; no incidents reported and the weather was absolutely beautiful.
After completing an in-depth risk assessment, Coverguard management ensured there were enough security guards, stewards and litter pickers for the event to run smoothly.
Fun fact;
Did you know that the regatta was officially first raced in 1866; from then it grew and had several different location changes before moving to Dorney Lake in 2001. Charles Dickens and his son were the original inspiration starting this historic event that now attracts people all over the UK!
