About Coverguard security

Experienced, Dedicated & Reliable

At Coverguard, we are dedicated to providing peace of mind through the provision of security services for both businesses and private individuals in the Thames Valley area.

We like to work in partnership with our clients and provide the best, cost-effective solution for their requirements.

By having a friendly but efficient approach, we aim to build mutually beneficial and long-term relationships with our clients.

A family run company, Coverguard, has bases in Windsor and Milton Keynes, and was established in 2000.

From our Windsor office we provide a wide range of security services to private individuals and companies along the Thames Valley area / M4 corridor, including Ascot, Bracknell, Bray, High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Newbury, Reading, Slough and Windsor.

From our Milton Keynes base, we cover the Aylesbury, Bletchley, Buckingham, Milton Keynes, Newport Pagnell, Olney, Towcester and Woburn areas.

Our services include Alarm Response, CCTV, Close Protection, Event Security, Intruder Alarms, Key Holding, Mobile Visits, Security Guards and Surveillance to mention just a few.

As the first security company to achieve ISO9001:2015 certification, Coverguard Security are also an SIA Approved Contractor, achieving within the top 25% for our sector. Being ACS Approved means you can feel confident in the knowledge that we are a cut above the rest. We do things right the first time and are very proud of our high standards.

If you are unsure which service will best suit your needs, we can carry out a site survey to ascertain if your premises or site has any security weaknesses. Any advice given will be impartial and we will make recommendations according to your business requirements and of course, your budget!

Our security professionals have the right corporate experience and maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and discretion. We can assist any industry, in national and international locations, at Corporate and Government sites, as well as private homes.

At Coverguard, we believe in building strong mutually beneficial relationships with our clients and work hard to not only meet, but exceed expectations and at competitive prices. More often than not, we are awarded contracts because we provide value for money, we're friendly and approachable and have the client's best interests at heart.

We only employ people with the right attitude and who can show discretion and common sense. Only those who can use discretion and think on their feet in any situation are chosen for your requirements. Most of our people work personally with the Managing Director in some capacity, to see first hand how they perform. How many other security companies can say that?

So before you turn to the large corporates for your security needs, give us a call first!

Meet the team

Managing Director of Coverguard Services

With 22 years experience working with Windsor and Maidenhead Police, and commendations from the Police Commissioner, Mark lives and breathes security.

Despite being the Managing Director, Mark likes to interact with clients and staff personally, as he never wants to lose that personal touch which helped create and build Coverguard Security all those years ago.

Mark utilises his experience with the police on every level, so you can be sure you're working with people who truly understand your requirements when you work with Coverguard Security.

Assistant Director of Coverguard Services

Paula is the Assistant Director of Coverguard Services, and has been with the company since February 2016.

With a wealth of experience working within Security and Psychology for the British Government, Paula's role includes recruiting and managing the team and liaising directly with customers as well as heading up our more "interesting" work such as covert surveillance, penetration testing, and psychoanalysis.

Paula is well published within the world of Psychology but has recently directed her writing skills towards the Security Industry; with her first security paper being published by the Journal Of International Security in October 2016.

Junior Administrator

Hi I’m Victoria and I work at Coverguard Security as a Junior Administrator. I have several years experience in IT Distribution which includes working closely with Cisco products, of which I achieved numerous certifications in. Having a "can do" attitude allows me to tackle anything that is thrown in front of me and I’m not afraid of a challenge. Outside of work I love spending time socialising with family and friends.

Security Supervisor

Nadeem is Coverguard Security's longest standing employee, having worked from our Maidenhead branch since 2000. Now running our Maidenhead key holding division, Nadeem is also our mobile driver for the south, and Security Supervisor. Nadeem has over 20 years experience within the security industry and speaks several languages fluently.

Senior Mobile Driver

Barry is our Senior Mobile Driver, and leads our Out of Hours team. With NASDU qualifications for both him and his dog Chase, Barry opens up other areas of opportunity for the company. Barry brings a wealth of experience to the team, and coming from a military background, his regimented approach to his role has created an effective, streamlined department that we are immensely proud of.

Door Supervisor

I'm 43 yrs old, 5ft 8 tall and I've done security on and off for past 15 years. I've done different kinds of security, from supervisor at BP head office at hanger lane, to static at shops and retail parks. More recently I’ve been doing door work at the slug and lettuce chains in Harpenden, St Albans and Milton Keynes.  I've also been doing the security at Milton Keynes casino on both day shifts and night shifts. I hold Rank of 1st dan black belt in Shotokan Karate.

I have worked for Coverguard security for 3 years now and truly love it. I prefer to work on building sites, and as a mobile driver, but I will turn my hand to most jobs!

Raising Standards Across the SIA (Meeting 1)

I had the privilege yesterday of attending the first of many meetings run by GOSS – an independent company bought in to improve standards across the SIA. Each meeting aims to focus on a different area, with this meeting focussing on the SIA website. We were fortunate enough to have Alero Harrison (Deputy Director of […]
